Company Profile

Founded in 2023 with RMB 5 million registered capital, Hangzhou Genegrow Biotechnology is co-founded by industry veterans. Headquartered in Hangzhou, it has R&D centers in Beijing/Shanghai and a large-scale fermentation line in Shandong. With 40+ R&D staff (40%+ master’s or above), its core team, experienced in synthetic biology, has managed full lifecycles of multiple 10-billion-level products. It also has strong overseas synthetic biology resources.

HISTORY

Jul. 2023 Genegrow Biotechnology was registered.
May. 2024 Completed an Angel round of financing.
May. 2024 Its holding subsidiary Shandong Jinghong Biotechnology was registered, marking the beginning of the industrialization process.
May. 2024 The first independently developed animal nutrition product L-Astaxanthin, was put into industrial production, its annual sales volume exceeded 70 tons.
Sep. 2024 The technology transfer agreement was signed with a certain listed company for Project 001GA, which was completed and accepted in the year of 2024.
Nov. 2024 The first phase project of the production base in Shandong (L-Arginine, L-Tryptophan) was put into operation for trial production.
Dec. 2024 The talent project of Qiantang District was rated as A1 level, and received a funding of tens of millions from the Qiantang District Government.
Mar. 2025 The first self-developed project of human nutrition product Vitamin K2 was successfully put into production.
Sep. 2025 The A-round financing of CNY 58 million was completed.
